Terms & Conditions
FWSA aims to ensure that all swimmers, parents, and teachers have a safe, enjoyable, and rewarding experience. By booking or attending swimming lessons with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which form part of the contract between you and FWSA.
FWSA reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
-
FWSA offers three types of courses:
Group Lessons – Operate during school term times and are booked and paid for on a per-term basis.
Private Lessons – Individual sessions tailored to the pupil’s needs and objectives. Lesson frequency, timing, and fees are agreed at the time of booking.
Intensive Training Courses (Crash Courses) – Run outside of term time and are booked and paid for as a block of lessons.
At the time of booking, FWSA will agree with you on the course type, number of lessons, location, schedule, and fees. These details form the basis of your booking.
Existing group lesson pupils will be offered renewal places before the start of a new term and notified of any changes.
While we consider preferences for location, day, and time, FWSA reserves the right to allocate places at its discretion, based on pupil ability, class composition, and overall school requirements. Our aim is to maintain balanced, effective learning environments.
-
All Group Lessons and Intensive Training Courses are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are only confirmed upon full payment.
Bookings are only considered confirmed once payment is received in full, prior to the first lesson. If payment is not received, FWSA reserves the right to cancel the booking without obligation to provide lessons.
Payment details will be provided during the booking process.
-
Cancellations must be made in writing or via email within:
Seven days of booking, or
Three days before the course start date (whichever is earlier)
Refunds will be issued minus the pro-rata cost of one lesson to cover administrative expenses.
No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations made after the course has started.
-
If lessons must be cancelled or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond FWSA’s control, no refunds will be issued. A replacement lesson will be offered at a time and location determined by FWSA.
Such circumstances may include (but are not limited to): pool damage, severe weather, power outages, industrial action, or civil unrest.
-
Pupils should arrive poolside five minutes before their lesson, ready to participate.
Late arrivals may be refused entry if deemed disruptive. No refunds or credits will be given for missed lessons.
-
IIf you wish to change your booked schedule, please inform us and we will attempt to accommodate your request.
If no suitable alternative is available, refunds for remaining lessons may be issued at FWSA’s discretion.

We aim to make swimming accessible and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate individual needs.
